Executive Vice President, Executive Creative Director Peter Moore Smith joins General Mills at SaatchiNY

Peter Moore Smith began his advertising career in 1988 as a junior copywriter at a small agency in Richmond, Virginia called Edelmann Scott, Inc. After relocating to New York a few years later, he began work as a copywriter at BBDO. There, he wrote campaigns for Visa, Pepsi, GE, HBO, AOL, and FedEx, and other major accounts. His last assignment at BBDO was running the Bank of America account. Then he was offered the opportunity to run the global account for Citibank at Publicis NY. At Publicis, Smith also won the International Hilton HHonors account. Now he is Executive Vice President, Executive Creative Director working on the General Mills account at Saatchi & Saatchi NY. Smith has won numerous awards throughout his career, including the One Show Pencil, the Gold Lion, Addys, Andys, Clios, and others, and he is also an award-winning novelist and screenplay writer, having published two novels, Raveling and Los Angeles, both from Little Brown, and written one independent movie, Forgetting the Girl. He lives in Tribeca, NY with his wife, Brigette, and five-year-old son, Wolfgang.
